Why I chose the DJI Osmo Action 4 Adventure Combo Camera…
- I wanted my travel camera to be robust, simple and waterproof for travel, so I made a practical choice. The DJI Osmo Action 4 Adventure Combo offers durability, simplicity, and waterproofing, making it well-suited for travel and outdoor adventures. Its robust design can handle various environments, and the waterproof feature ensures you can capture moments even in challenging conditions without worrying about damaging the device. Plus, its form factor is more convenient for my travel needs compared to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, which isn’t waterproof, though still an appealig choice because of its features.
- I also liked the fact that it comes with 3 batteries, a charging case and a selfie stick. The additional accessories mean you can capture more footage without worrying about running out of power, especially during extended outdoor excursions where access to charging may be limited. The charging case adds convenience by providing a secure and organised way to transport and charge your batteries while on the go. Additionally, the included selfie stick can enhance your filming capabilities by allowing for unique angles and perspectives, which is particularly handy for capturing memorable moments during your travels. Overall, these extra features add value to the package and may have contributed to your choice over the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.
- I already had a DJI product which is the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 Gimbal so I could vouch for the brands quality. DJI is a well-known and respected brand in the imaging industry, known for its high-quality products and innovative technology. Choosing the DJI Osmo Action 4 Adventure Combo Camera gives you the assurance of buying from a trusted brand with a track record of delivering reliable and innovative products.
- The price was right. Cheaper than it’s competitor on the market with more value. This adventure combo was £379 whereas the Go Pro 12 is £399. While the initial price difference might seem small between the DJI Osmo Action 4 Adventure Combo and the GoPro 12, factoring in the cost of purchasing additional batteries, a charging case, and a stick separately for the GoPro 12 could significantly increase the total cost of ownership. By offering these accessories as part of the package, DJI helps users save money in the long run.
