My First Time Couchsurfing! Is It Safe?! Experience & Advice for Solo Girl Travel

I Couchsurfed for the first time in Oslo, Norway back in April [2016]. I figured it was the perfect time for me to dive in as I had heard Norway was renowned  for be super-expensive and overpriced for travellers. As well as me wanting to save money I also had a desire to connect with the locals. Okay okay, so my host wasn’t Norwegian, he was Swedish but still a local who was able to show me around the city and provide a comfortable space for me to rest my head at night.
